This is a vintage Frazada once used to keep warm in a ranch home in the Peruvian Andes. The yarn to weave this Frazada was hand-spun and hand-dyed. It was handwoven by a woman artisan and likely took a few months to complete. The purchase of this Frazada directly supports the continuation of this weaving style, empowers women and ensures fair pay.

You may find light to dark color variations or small irregularities due to the handmade process and in that it was previously well loved. “Wacos”, small repaired holes or “manchas” stains from maybe candle wax may be found. Sizes are approximate and not exact. These imperfections make each Frazada one-of-a-kind.

Care Instructions:  Machine wash. Gentle cycle. Suggested 1 cup white vinegar. Cold water only. Warm water or strong soap can cause natural dyes to bleed or fade. Hang to dry.
