100% alpaca yarn hand-spun in the high Peruvian Andes. Using a traditional drop spindle known as a “puska,” Cultural Threads artisans preserve their Inca heritage with every spin.
Loose & lofty, light weight yarn. Each skein is 100grams + and all natural colors of alpaca.

Due to the natural colors of the alpaca and the process of spinning the yarn with a drop spindle, light to dark color variations or small irregularities in the yarn may be present making each skien very special and one-of-a-kind.
Alpaca does not contain lanolin, making it hypoallergenic and excellent for those with skin sensitivities.
Care Instructions: To wash your 100% alpaca yarn or completed knit, fill basin with cold water and a small amount of baby shampoo. Treat it like hair because that is what it is. ALWAYS COLD WATER ONLY. Warm water temperatures or strong soaps can cause alpaca fiber to felt or shrink! Soak for about 5 minutes, rinse in cold water and lightly squeeze excess. Hang to dry.
